Welcome to Sunnyside!
Here in Sunnyside we might do things a bit different than what you’re used to. Here are a few things that will help you get off to a great start.
- We use Google Apps For Education
- You will automatically be assigned an e-mail address. Your e-mail address will be your: email@example.com Your initial password will be: LetMeIn! You’ll be prompted to change your google password to something you can remember upon successful login
- We encourage all users to set up a recovery method in the event you forget your password (it happens to everyone from time to time.) Instructions for setting up a recovery method can be found here: https://goo.gl/FQ8UK2 If you happen to forget your password and aren’t able to recover it yourself, there are several people in your building who can assist. Your first point of contact is your building Lab Manager.
- We encourage all users to use the Chrome Web Browser and use the browser’s built in Google Drive to store ALL files.
The network in Sunnyside is robust. We use state of the art wired and wireless networking gear. The network has a 99% uptime which is important for busy teachers to be able to make the most of each instructional minute.

All software updates and installations are handled through a program called Self Service. Self Service can be found in your Applications folder. Looking to install the printers for your building? It’s one click away in Self Service/Printers.
