• In light of reports regarding incidents of people dressing up as clowns and exhibiting violent and dangerous behavior, the Sunnyside School District will not allow any persons dressing up as clowns onto ANY school facility or to ANY school-sponsored events. Persons dressing up as clowns will be contacted by school personnel and law enforcement and escorted off-property. If students decide to come to school dressed as clowns, they will be contacted by school security and administration.

     

    District security staff and the Sunnyside Police Department continue to monitor the situation and again ask that any sightings or suspicious behavior be reported to SSPD Dispatch at 836-6200

     

    Debido a informes que continúan cercar a medios de comunicación y en los sitios de redes sociales sobre casos de personas que se están vistiendo como payasos y exhiben comportamientos violentos y peligrosos, el Distrito Escolar de Sunnyside no permitiría ninguna persona vestido como payaso en ningún instalación o alguna otra actividad proporcionada por la escuela. Personas vestidos como payasos serán contactados por el personal de seguridad y oficiales de la ley y escoltados de la propiedad. Si estudiantes deciden de venir a la escuela vestidos como payasos, ellos serán contactados por el personal de seguridad y administración.

     

    El personal de seguridad del Distrito Escolar de Sunnyside y el Departamento de Policía de Sunnyside continúan a monitorear la situación y una vez mas les solicitamos que cualquier observación o comportamiento sospechoso sea reportado al Departamento de Policía al 836-6200.

  • The Healthy Youth Survey (HYS) is a collaborative effort of the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction, the Department of Health, the Department of Social and Health Service's Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery, and Liquor and Cannabis Board.

    The Healthy Youth Survey provides important survey results about the health of adolescents in Washington. County prevention coordinators, community mobilization coalitions, community public health and safety networks, and others use this information to guide policy and programs that serve youth.
